En ce 6-5-2011, l’équipe de la Fondation Samdech Norodom Racvivong s’est rendue dans la province de Ta Keo pour y apporter une aide supplémentaire à deux établissements désormais bien connus de leurs bienfaiteurs : l’école primaire Serey Damnak et l’école primaire Sok An Mongkul Mean Leak

C’est la deuxième fois de suite que l’équipe de la Fondation Samdech Norodom Racvivong s’est rendue dans cet établissement qui avait précédemment reçu près de 400 manuels scolaires, en réponse à une demande adressée par sa direction à Samdech Preah Mohessara NORODOM Chakrapong. A l’occasion de cette précédente séance de distribution, le Président de la Fondation Samdech Norodom Racvivong s’était comme de coutume enquis auprès de ses hôtes de la situation générale de l’établissement et avait pris alors pris note de leur besoin en outils de jardinage.
Comme la plupart des établissements situées en zones rurales, l’école primaire Serey Damnak dispose en effet d’un jardin potager qui permet d’alimenter les élèves et de leur transmettre des connaissances basiques sur les pratiques agricoles. Ainsi le directeur et les enseignants de l’école avaient-ils demandé à Samdech Preah Mohessara s’il lui était possible de leur offrir des outils de jardinage pour mieux entretenir ce jardin potager. Le Président de la Fondation Samdech Norodom Racvivong a fait le nécessaire et a chargé un son équipe de retourner sur place dès le mois suivant avec un ensemble complet d’outils comprenant 6 houes avec leurs manches amovibles, 6 pelles, 2 haches et 2 couperets. L’ensemble des outils a été remis à l’établissement au cours d’une cérémonie organisée à cet effet.
A l’issue de la cérémonie, le directeur, les enseignants et les élèves de l’école ont remercié avec effusion la Fondation Samdech Norodom Racvivong et son Président pour avoir si rapidement répondu à leur demande.

On 6-5-2011, the Samdech Norodom Racvivong Foundation Team undertook a trip to Ta Keo province in order to bring more support to two schools where their benefactors are now well known: Serey Damnak Primary School and Sok An Mongkul Mean Leak Primary School.
Donation of a set of gardening tools to Serey Damnak Primary School
It is the second consecutive time that the Samdech Norodom Racvivong Foundation has visited this school which previously received around 400 textbooks further to a request sent to Samdech Preah Mohessara NORODOM Chakrapong. On this occasion, the President of the Samdech Norodom Racvivong foundation had as usual asked his hosts about the general situation of the school and had taken note of the need for gardening tools.
As most of the schools located in rural areas, Serey Damnak Primary School indeed possesses a vegetable garden which supports the pupil’s alimentation and allows for the transmission of basic skills in agriculture. Thus, the Director and teachers of the school had asked Samdech Preah Mohessara if there could be a possibility to donate gardening tool for the maintenance of the vegetable garden. The President of the Samdech Norodom Racvivong Foundation took the necessary steps and sent his team the next month to deliver a complete set of gardening tools including 6 spades and the removable handle, 6 hoes, 2 axes and 2 cleavers. The whole set was offered to the school during a ceremony specially organized in this occasion.
At the end of the ceremony, the Director, the teachers and the students of the school expressed their gratefulness with profusion to the Samdech Norodom Racvivong and its President for having so promptly answered their request.

En près de trois ans, cet établissement de Ta Keo a déjà bénéficié du soutien de la fondation à deux reprises, ayant reçu notamment plus de 800 manuels scolaires et un kit complet d’outils de jardinage.
Pour sa troisième visite, c’est un ordinateur que la Fondation Samdech Norodom Racvivong a offert à l’administration de l’école. La donation s’est faite au cours d’un brève cérémonie tenue en présence des enseignants et des élèves qui ont chaleureusement remercié les représentants de Samdech Preah Mohessara NORODOM Chakrapong pour le soutien continu accordé à leur établissement. Grâce à cet équipement moderne, le directeur de l’école Sok An Mongkul Mean Leak et ses enseignants pourront en effet mieux gérer l’enseignement et les diverses tâches administratives qui leur incombent.
